New Features in the Main User Interface for System Users
- New Report Viewer. Reports are now optimised for web viewing and are no longer limited to Internet Explorer only. You can preview reports in all major browsers, Chrome, Firefox etc.
- New Feature - Call Time Logs. Allows you to log time and cost of client site visits.
- Renamed categories to services in order to align LanSupport with ITIL.
- Added an option to prevent users from assigning calls to < None >.
- Added an auto-fill suggestion list on the subject when creating a call that displays recent call subjects.
- When viewing list of service issues, you can filter by parent service.
- Existing reports are now categorised as 'legacy' reports and are still available.

- Added a tab for configuration items, assets are now under this menu tab.
- New Feature - Announcements under the call center menu. Allows you send a broadcast message that all clients can view on client login. Duration of how long it will be shown can be changed.
- New Permission - Asset Read – Allows you to control who can view the asset list
- New Feature - Attachments for clients. Allows you to attach documents to a client.
- New Feature - Remark types. Allows you to categorise remarks by type. e.g Question, Follow up etc.
- Added option to prevent clients from viewing call tasks based on task type.
- New Email Template Tag - A new tag has been created that lists only Client Visible tasks for call notification e-mail templates
- Tasks now sorted by Task code by default.
- Added a completion date field for tasks. Automatically set when the task is compeleted.
- Searching for locations now possible
- Searching for attachments within the call now possible
- Option to disable cloning of calls.
- Master call list can now be limited to administrators only (options) or, by specific new permission 'Read' call details.
- E-mail templates that contain tasks now indicate the date completed.
- Added a label displaying how long the task has been open or how long it took to complete.
- Individual call scripts can now be hidden from clients.
- An icon indicating hidden scripts is visible when answering the checklist questions, from client login, the script does not appear.
- Option to hide the resolution box when creating a call.
- Added top level link to head straight to master call list from any page.
- Billable items filtering option. Filtering is done by typing into box, clicking or selecting item updates cost, VAT etc, as expected.
- Option to show a warning message is displayed in client login when a specified no. of open calls is reached and an option to prevent creation of new calls when a specified no. of open calls is reached.
- Option to send an e-mail notification when a call is re-assigned.
- New email template available. 'Call Re-Assigned'. Automatically sent to the client when a call is re-assigned.
- New Feature - When creating a task, you can attach a file to the call at the same time, and the file can be attached to the notification e-mail for the task.

- Enabled reversing of resolution for a particular call
- Clients can now view and print job sheet, (requires Adobe Reader).
- Added feedback option when confirming a call.
- Added a notification icon on client login for calls that have pending feedback.
- Option to hide assets from a client on client login.
